“Community Mirror” Exhibition Space

The “Community Mirror” Exhibition Space is intended to reflect the values of the community and be a place where residents can see themselves reflected and represented.

A mirror is not just for reflecting back but also for examination.

This concept mock-up shows how the Four Freedoms mural exhibit will be displayed. This exterior wall space will be designed to accommodated rotating banner-printed artwork utilizing re-usable hardware; rotating between local artists and guests artists, facilitating an artistic dialogue within the community and beyond.

The Community Mirror allows for preservation of the building’s original exterior while also activating the outside of the building during preservation and rehabilitation of the building.

The Community Mirror is part of Phase I of our preservation and activation plan.
